Just a Few Days to go before the

10^th Annual Thailand International Cricket Sixes

The 10th Anniversary of the annual Thailand International Cricket Sixes gets underway in Bangkok next Friday on the 17^th November, with up to fourteen teams competing and continuing to make “Friendships Through Cricket”.

The event organised by the Asian Cricket Sixes Tour (ACST) will see participants from England, Australia, India, Singapore, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Malaysia, UAE and Sri Lanka joining local representation for the three-day event; which is being held at the Thana City Sports Club near Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The partaking teams will be seeded at the completion of the first round of games, to compete for honours in the Cup, Bowl and Shield on Sunday afternoon.

ACST Chairman, Michael Maher is delighted with the line up of teams, as the tournament reaches a momentous milestone.

“We are very proud to be celebrating the tournament’s tenth birthday this year in the wonderful city of Bangkok. Over the years we’ve seen some very special cricket at the event as well as introducing hundreds of cricketers from around the world to each other”.

“The ACST cannot wait for what will be another magnificent festival of cricket and camaraderie. Just Seven Weeks until the 

Thailand International Cricket Sixes!

In less than two months from now the Thailand International Cricket Sixes will be getting underway; but it’s not too late for you or your team to join in.

The tenth anniversary of the tournament is being played at the Thana City Sports Club in Bangkok between Friday 17th and Sunday 19th November, with teams travelling from far and wide to compete.

While it is not too late to confirm your participation, time is of the essence so that the ACST can plan fully for what will be a magnificent cricket and social event, with three days of cricket, a welcome party, a pub function and a dinner all on the itinerary.

ACST Announce Dates for the 

2017 Thailand International Cricket Sixes

The ACST are proud to announce the dates for the tenth anniversary Thailand International Cricket Sixes. The tournament will be played from Friday 17^th to Sunday 19^th November 2017.

The event has traditionally been held in late October from its inaugural event in 2008, but the decision has been made to move to a later date as ACST Chairman Michael “Cat” Maher explains.

“Through the efforts of our dedicated team, we have produced our own portable artificial deck, so that we are no longer prisoners to one venue or the calendar. This is enabling the ACST to be flexible and to try and minimise the chances of getting hit by wet weather; although sadly nobody can offer a full guarantee on that score.”

“2017 is also an Ashes year. Our tournament takes place the weekend before the eagerly awaited First Test at the Gabba in Brisbane. This opens up the opportunity for potential English teams to break up their journey and make friendships through cricket,” added Mr Maher.

The tournament venue will be announced in due course.
